News: 4 days agoChase (undisclosed) missed practice Tuesday, but coach Zac Taylor offered no details on the issue that sidelined him, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: Chase has yet to actually participate in practice in training camp, but until Tuesday he'd been present every day while in street clothes. It remains to be seen whether his absence is related to an injury sustained during private workouts, a personal matter, or his ongoing contract dispute. In any event, it's a new development as the star wide receiver's hold-in continues.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Chase starts his fourth pro season with the Bengals looking to boost his numbers with a healthy Joe Burrow back running the offense. Chase averaged 16.4 fantasy PPG, down from the 20.0 PPG he registered in 2022 (WR3). However, Chase still posted five games with 20 or more points, including the 52.2-point performance in Week 5 versus the Cardinals. Chase has totaled 29 touchdowns in his career and is one the league's premier players at the position due to his big-play ability and upper-tier play strength. Lock him in as a top 10 player overall in fantasy this season.
