The WWE on Monday announced a unique partnership with the Indiana Sports Corp that will see WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble all head to Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium over the next few years.
The partnership begins on Feb. 1, 2025 with the Royal Rumble, which officially kicks off the road to WrestleMania. Lucas Oil Stadium will also host a future two-night SummerSlam and a future two-night WrestleMania as part of the deal, with those dates still to be determined.
Additionally, Raw, SmackDown, NXT and WWE Live Events will emanate from arenas across Indiana, including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Evansville.
"We are excited to bring this groundbreaking partnership to Indianapolis and our state," Indiana Sports Corp president Patrick Talty said in a statement. "For over four decades, our city's sports strategy has brought in millions of visitors and priceless hours of international brand-building media coverage. This partnership with WWE continues to push that strategy forward in new and exciting ways."
The 2025 edition of WrestleMania is set to take place in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on April 19-20. SummerSlam will expand to a two-night event beginning in 2026 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. This year's SummerSlam will head to Cleveland in August and there has been no announcement as to where SummerSlam will be in 2025.
"Indianapolis is a fantastic city for major events and we're excited to invite the WWE Universe to Lucas Oil Stadium for Royal Rumble in 2025, and a future SummerSlam and WrestleMania," WWE executive vice president Chris Legentil said in a statement. "... We're proud to partner with them to shine a light on the great state of Indiana."
