News: 16 hours agoThe Bills plan for Kincaid and the starting offense to play one and a half quarters during Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: Buffalo deployed the first-team units for only a quarter during last week's preseason opener against the Bears, in which Kincaid secured his only target for seven yards. With Dawson Knox (groin/ankle) currently managing a pair of injuries, Kincaid could be in line for a larger portion of snaps than usual Saturday. The second-year pro looks like a breakout candidate at the tight-end position after having put up a 73-673-2 receiving line across 16 regular-season games as a rookie.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: What will Kincaid do for an encore after a solid rookie year? He split snaps with Dawson Knox for most of the season, but once Knox was injured, Kincaid showed fantasy managers what he's capable of. From Weeks 8 through 12, Kincaid operated as the starter and led all Bills in targets (37). With both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis departing this offseason, Buffalo is lacking a reliable pass-catcher. Kincaid is a candidate to lead the Bills in targets this season, with competition coming from free-agent addition Curtis Samuel and second-round pick Keon Coleman. Kincaid is a midrange TE1 target with elite upside.
